The Hugo Rug Collection by Baya is a contemporary checkerboard done with a much quieter hand. In Midnight, the design combines a deep midnight blue that brings mood and definition to the geometric design, while hand-carved sections create subtle changes in height and shadow. The pattern is clear, but it does not shout across the room for attention.
Loom-knotted from 100% New Zealand wool, Hugo has a dense, supportive feel with a soft cut pile underfoot. The cotton backing adds stability, while the substantial 15–18mm pile gives the carved pattern enough depth to show properly.
